How the environments people live in accumulate into risk of cognitive decline (Ongoing project)

Cognitive decline has a long preclinical course and no established cure, which makes modifiable environmental exposure one of the few available points of intervention. Most existing evidence measures exposure once, in a single domain, and at a unit coarser than the neighborhood a person actually lives in, while cognitive decline accumulates across decades and the conditions contributing to it act together rather than one at a time.

This project brings the long-run, multi-domain exposure measurement developed across my earlier work to cognitive outcomes.
