My sensing research spans two complementary projects:
- Mapping the Physical Environment — measuring land cover and land-use change from crowdsourced geographic data and geo-tagged imagery.
- Measuring Urban Function & Deprivation — understanding how places are used and where disadvantage is concentrated through landscape form and human activity.
